Abundant Life Fellowship has a true passion for missions. Over the past 20 years thousands of dollars have been sent out to missionaries all over the world and to our local missions. I also share this passion for missions through the vision, “Changing Lives and Changed Lives Making a Difference.”
As part of this continued commitment and vision we are planning to return to the Philippines in May of 2013. This past year a team traveled to the Philippines and ministered to the local churches and pastors. God moved beyond anything we could have imagined. He has prompted us to continue this work by returning this year and expanding on ministering and encouraging the local pastors. God has opened so many doors for this coming trip. We are so excited to see what God will do.
In preparation for our trip we are asking our friends and family for support both in prayer and financially. We need to raise the necessary funds to provide food, housing and transportation for our team as well as rice and food for the Philippine people while we are there ministering. We will be holding Worship workshops, Youth Rallies, and several Pastor’s Conferences. Many of these Christian leaders travel hours to attend these meetings without much provision so we plan to help feed them while they are attending. Each team member is expected to raise $2,000 to cover these expenses.
We ask that you prayerfully consider what God would have you do to support this awesome ministry opportunity in the Philippines. Missions is not about the oceans you cross, it’s about the oceans you cry. Come and cry with me!
